An article authored by Avi Marciano, a doctoral student in the department, has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication (JCMC). Avi's article is titled: "Living the VirtuReal: Negotiating Transgender Identity in Cyberspace". The article is based on Avi's master's thesis completed under the supervision of Dr. Rivka Ribak.
