Dissertation Title: Effect of crisis event framing on psycho-social components (Supervisors: Prof Yariv Tzfati & Prof Gabriel Weimann)
My main interest is political communication, focusing on framing effects on the public sphere. One objective of my research is to examine the effects of specific textual components in news, especially during crisis events, on psychological schemes such as hope, optimism, efficacy and resiliency. Another scope is to anderstand the effect of positive and frames on the perceived public climate regarding resilience, national-resilience and well-being.
